“Life is never stuck or static or stale,
For each moment is ever new and fresh.”
At the beginning of this very very very warm season, July is here to warm our souls.
As a No-No-Summer girl, I found it quite hard to bring myself to accept the beauty of this extremely high temperature (if it ever exists) while melting down at the corner of the street in my sandals and the lightest weighted summer dress ever with my sunglasses on at 4 pm…
However, the first month of every new season always reminds me of leaning back, slowing down, and observing what I have done in the past couple of months.
As I mentioned before in this blog post:
“Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.”
The aim of this seasonal self-assessment is not to either interrogate or even blame me. My primary intent is only to give myself a chance “See” which playground I’m standing in with no judgment.
Regardless of paying attention to the details, Having the big picture in mind won’t allow us to understand the situation, and wasting time on too much information would lead to misjudgment and obsession. I believe every woman on her journey should be blessed enough to enjoy life and go with the flow, yet wise enough to change sinister plans.
So, Today I want to share my recently discovered treasure related to this topic: You Can Heal Your Life; a book by Louise Hay.
Lousie Hay wrote this book to help us be inspired on our journey and encourage us to practice being kind to ourselves while solving life problems. As she noticed in this lovely quote:
“You have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. We think so often that we are helpless, but we’re not. We always have the power of our minds… Claim and consciously use your power.”
She also invites us to abandon old habits and leave the bad experiences behind, and gracefully embrace what is coming on our way:
“The past has no power over us. It doesn’t matter how long we have had a negative pattern. The point of power is in the present moment. What a wonderful thing to realize! We can begin to be free at this moment!”
